Short Story

On Wednesday August 3, 2017, my Father, Late Chief Aloysius Okoronkwo Ejirika from Ogberuru in Orlu L.G.A, Imo state, lost his battle with the stroke illness.  If you are familiar with the disease, you know what a horrific, debilitating disease this  is for the individual, as well as the individual’s family and friends.  We tried to prepare financially for him eventual passing after having learned his diagnosis; however, we had not planned for the disease to take him away from us so quickly, and instead spent our time with him these past few months making him as comfortable as possible. This has been a particularly hard few months for the family, having lost our youngest daughter in 2015 to road accident, and another daughter in October 2016.  At this time, the family cannot afford to pay for my father’s funeral service.

I am asking for any help you are able to give in order to help us provide my father a proper memorial service, I am currently out of business and cannot do this on my own.  He was a wonderful, caring, hard working person.  He was a father, grandfather, friend and the glue that kept our family together.  My hope is that I can give him the funeral that exemplifies all that he was to me and the rest of our family.
